Sorry for the delay in Friday's post. Karl's daughter Carol had emailed me the information because there was bad reception and I wasn't going to be home to get my dear brother's nightly phone call. On Friday the boys traveled from West Newton, PA to Rockwood, PA. They stayed in a new hostel (yes a hostel and not a hotel) on Main Street. The lower level was just completed to sleep about 20 vagabonds, umm, I mean travelers in about 10 sets of bunk beds. They traveled about 75 miles on Friday and again had escaped the rain. They knew it had rained in places ahead of them because the trail was often wet, but they didn't get any rain. Karl had a flat tire on Friday night, but didn't change it until Saturday morning. Looks like we have a new leader in the Flat Tire Race.
