Well, another state bites the dust. That's right..Oklahoma is no longer under their wheels. They're in Missouri. Karl and Mo traveled 72 miles today to arrive in Aurora, Missouri. They have traveled over 1800 miles so far since they started in San Diego about 4 weeks ago. The weather was great again today and there were no troubles on their route.
They are about 30 miles from Springfield, MO. Tomorrow they are hoping to do a little sightseeing at a civil war battleground and possibly a cavern. So, needless to say, tomorrow will probably be a short day for them. In the next couple of days they are hoping to hop onto a rail trail that will take them east across Missouri. Apparently it's a pretty scenic route along the Missouri River.
The GPS says that they are about 1100 miles from home. Just a couple of more weeks left on their journey. Hopefully they're getting a lot of pictures to show us all when they return. Until the next time...
