Today our two favorite cyclists had a relatively "easy" day. They rode to Strafford, MO, northeast of Springfield. Today's mileage was 57 including their sightseeing. They visited Wilson Civil War Battlefield. For more information on the Battle of Wilson's Creek, click HERE.
After visiting the battlefield and touring the museum, they went to Fantastic Caverns and took a tram ride through the caverns. The weather was great again today and they suffered no flat tires.
They will be heading towards Jefferson City tomorrow. They probably won't get there until Sunday, but once they're there, they will hop on the Rail Trail that will take them east through Missouri.
I asked Karl if he had any plans for Memorial Day and he said he thought he may do a little bike riding :-). These guys never rest!!! Have fun Mo and Karl!
