Karl called me a couple of minutes ago. They biked 35 miles today. Most of it was uphill. As I had previously written, they were going to climb another 2000 feet of elevation today. Well, they did it. Right now they're about 4200 feet above sea level. They're staying in a motel tonight in Boulevard, California, so maybe they'll get to relax their sore legs.
